 Nicolas ALBERNY Studied cinema to Montpellier's university (France). He's been a productive writer and director these last years with acclaimed short movies as: 100 precedents, Pompes funebres, Forgotten King Kong, helium Killer, Le cercle. He is his own producer,, storyboarder, editor, music composer and a special effects supervisor.
He wrote and directed Avis de tempête, for Arte produced by Gullver Productions. He also composed the original soundtrack, was the storyboarder and the set designer.
In collaboration with yann Moreau, he co-wrote and director the multi awarded short feature : 'Forgotten King Kong' (broadcasted on canal plus).
Nicolas then started working with Jean Mach in co-writing ans co-directing his first feature length film 8Th Wonderland. Nicolas also composed the original soundtrack and storyboarded the all movie.8th wonderland was released in France and Germany in May 2010 and was awarded 12 international prizes. Futhermore, Nicolas has also directed several clips that have been broadcast on television channels.
He is also an animator.
As a composer, he signed all his movie soundtrack but also composed the soundtrack of two others features : Burial of Rats and Par l'odeur alléché. He is part of a band called 'Groove gate' and another one 'Les farfadets' for which he composed some of the songs. he is also a drummer. |
